i made this just now - denim body pillow

denim body pillow
i guess you could use old jeans and your old mishapen pillows just like i did if you ever wanted or needed a longish pillow. so here it is, my body pillow made of super soft stretch denim drawstring skirt by garage (brand) body pillow. for the back part or seat of my sofa.
so squishy i love it. i used two pillows one of them i took apart and folded in half and used batting to make it a solid pillow and just put it right in without fabric - hope that doesnt get loose.
its sewn shut so ill only get to wash it by undoing the edge haha thats ok but i forgot to use the stich that is just one thread so you can pull it and it comes apart... i forgot what its called:::

Finished quilt!

the quilt is totally finished! All the edges are all sewn up the cotton trim is adorable!! I need to go wash it now and see how it stands up to the test of the commercial washer down the street ohhh i cant wait to smell it all soft and fresh !!! This is hands down the best thing i made for myself. All the clothes i made were stolen, bags i dont use anymore, little pouches yeah, but this… this is enormous! Oh yeah theres that cute coat i made but its too small for me go figure i make something too small. Actually this quilt is a bit small for a full or twin sized mattress, the edges just make it. If i was to be sharing there would be blanket snatching during the night the quilt would have to go sideways no?? Its so great but now that its all grown up i want another baby…to sell! What a challenge. Also i fucked up and i think this is the last day of the fabricland sale…..i didnt buy anything else when i bought the duvet cos it was 50 bucks and i was being conservative. I should go, there was some super cute fabric to get but without a pattern, how willi know how much fabric to buy? I supposed i could buy fabric for these blocks and make a similar quilt carefully not recreating the one i just made cos this one is mostly copyrighted patterns from the etsy book i bought to learn. I also wanted to buy some quilting books on thriftbooks but i didnt because im trying to figure out how to maximize my time effort and money. Like now for sure i want to get the sewing machine fixed, i didnt before because i was going to hand-sew and now that its done i want the machine again to piece more blocks. Actually some of the blocks are patterns i came up with but im still not sure what hercopyright is… will have to reread it… i should send her a picture of the quilt! Yup i got a new hobby.ithink of  Simons mum a lot cos she is a fabulous quilter and has scores of completed quilts at home just piling up from what i remember.

I left the back part just plain. Basically its a blanket it sewed all around the edges. Think itll be ok but i might tack it on from the top. I dunno if i need to though cos the static and the surface nature of the two fabrics the duvet and the front of the polyester sheet stick together, so the back is this kind of slippery feel. Its a blanket from a shelter i had and it fit perfectly. Go figure. Same shelter that stole my mail which was a package of cubic zirconia diamonds. Fuckin shelter system you know they really fucked up and just tormented and targeted women during the emtire covid i hated all the african staff they treated the women so badly what the fuck. They claimed their lives mattered more than the shelter participants and would kick women out on the street for no reason whatsoever.

::::::::::::::::():::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::():::::::::::::

Yipee i just got back from fabricland and i totally took advantage of the sale. Got a bumch of fabric for my next quilt project, my two feather pillow covers project, and a bunch of sequin appliqués i want to put on a quilted bag project.

Then after fabricland i walked in the rain to wilson to go to my local vape store but they didnt have the pods i wanted nor did they have the vape juice i wamted so i bought two disposable vapes for 11 something bucks as they were on sale.

Then i got back and bought bbq from the filipino bbq on the corner of wilson and bathurst the filipino side. Honestly their chicken is better than the pork.

So now im all full and what a turn out of a day. I totally invested my cash and treated myself. Heres the fabric stack and a sequin applique shot

I thought the day was done for when i fell into remembering how the shelters would kick me out over and over again for no reason whatsoever. I cant even right now. Yeah so i salvaged the day and hope i wont remind myself how badly i was treated by other women who really had no business being the decision maker in weather or not a woman would have to spend the night outside during winter when the shelters were not even full. So yeah i was really lucky i thought of fabric land. Oh yeah also i walked to value buds on dufferin and bought a new cart thc 90% cbg 10% from spinach and it smells great actually. Then the budtender who i totally appreciated gave me a discount business card for the shroom dispensary downtown!! Im stoked to go!! Yeah so PTSD is a real vibe kill and it can really bring you down til you cant move no more. You gotta find something better to do…. Well weed helps. Lol. Obviously

QUILT BLOCKS

Pics of the blocks so far!

I'm using the pattern I bought on Etsy

 "B. Annie Quilt"

Ok

I'm editing now(edit)

Thing is I think most of the original pics are on my flip phone. But I got this phone for taking pics right but this phone's camera kind of sucks it's only good for super close up you can have the lens like 4 centimeters away . I got it for jewelry supplies and what not but now that I got it it's literally useless for anything else. Except maybe wear and tear. It's supposed to be impervious to damage! (Smashes phone on ground, picks it up np) yeah dumb huh. It was 140 dollars. With a warning not to take the battery out. The iPhone Billy (bully) gave me got damaged and then I guess hacked and then I couldn't update it and then someone stole it. From my room. So I have to be strict no more porkchop bugging me exhausted from being in his dregs squalor palace. I don't know what to do cos they're raised differently. It's fucks with me because I think he is normal as he acts normal, or pretends to be cohesive but he just looks that way. Anyway I think I want another iPhone. I'll try to register next month and sell this one. But I like its strength 💪 feature

Ok this part is the first post:

 no shouting shhhh

i finished my first quilt block and its super cute and im working on the second one but i stalled all day on the bobbin rethreading so i didnt quilt today.

since all i have is a flip phone the pics are really bad. my digital camera is broken so theres really no alternative. when i finish the second blcok ill edit this post to make it my first quilt post.

Home in the Cloud - Laptop Case tutorial

kind of a tutorial
because i never finished the case so far
never found anyone willing to monetize the video tutorial with me for my youtube. was not short on replies though. wow do people waste my time. im honestly the only person i know that makes stuff anymore. or even knows how to. or even does anything.
probably at some point someone will make money off this idea
but not me and not now. dang. well here it is

the house block quilted and backed, then attached to the clouds/  the puffy clouds are just stitches around actual printed cloud fabric.
i backed it with pellon then felt then batting then the cloud fabric. stitched around the cloud onto the felt. its very comfy but i think for a real case it needs another sturdy layer like just cover a laptop case that you buy.
 the pieces
 the front block
attaching the strip onto the back
the back before attaching the front
 at an angle
 the front
there are many mistakes and i wish i had set up the serger... but i made this laptop case with darry in the old storage where i met him lol we stayed up till like 5 in the morning i was obsessed with making this damn thing cos he had hooked up an extension cord and i could use the sewing machine
close up on the cloud stiches

the bottom left corner isnt right but i fixed it after

the back! after ironing.

april 29 update:
now please dont steal my exact project and make money off it without giving me some money too.  serious. if you want to borrow the idea and sell it tell me and pay me bitch! just kidding. i know dogs cant sew. just kidding! i know some very talented dogs. but i think im still traumatized from that girl who stole my busy as a bee necklace design and copied my description word per word. number one, she didnt even change it up at all, number two she didnt even give me any money. THE WORST!
this laptop case is super dirty now and i never finished the zippered  top part even though i know it would only take a couple hours of dedicated hand stitching. My machines are in storage now...locked up in storage... cos men like to make sure i dont have anywhere to go but in their arms! oh puke fest.

so ive been homeless since april
its been a nightmare....
i wrote this in reply this morning after hearing this song

My Crazy Violent Family (memories)
(one sided men who view me as an acquisition)

Hey Ocean! (featuring Shad K.) - Vagabond

so many people preying on me because they know i have nowhere to go or anyone to turn to
mostly sad people who dont have hobbies that create original concepts and products that get stolen by china and other uncreative locals. lol.

im not going to go into that right now

im looking for a youtube videographer interested in monetizing d.i.y. videos with me!

hopefully my ad wont be flagged on the classifieds. all of the rest do. except the housekeeping jobs where they would literally record me on video..... eww..... people literally disgust me now.

being a public woman is impossible these days.

Lilac - Syringa Vulgaris Botanical Illustration

Aromatherapy Toronto

Lilac Soap

Finely crafted Handmade 100% Coconut oil soap

The fragrance I used is a mixture of Lilac fragrance and naturals.
There are a couple formulations so there are two distinct labels.
This soap has aroma molecules blended to smell like Lilac, and natural isolates to enhance the fragrance and longevity of scent.
Hand drawn illustration by me.
This formula contains coumarin, a natural isolate, also known as Tonka Bean. Smells sweet and nice. Since this is a restricted ingredient in the fragrance industry you are meant to label it if it is above 100 ppm for rinse off products (.01% for rinse off and .001% for leave on products) so the ingredient is listed because it is at .125% .06% for this Lilac fragrance blend I made for this batch of soap (this is why lot numbers are essential for cosmetic labeling) and also for those obsessed with this scent. It causes an allergy to 1.2-6.8% of patients with suspected fragrance contact allergy according to this study: https://ec.europa.eu/health/ph_risk/committees/04_sccp/docs/sccp_o_061.pdf
Here is another article on Coumarin https://pubs.acs.org/doi/full/10.1021/acsomega.7b00562

large bars and mini soaps

Purchase these from me on Etsy, Im selling three sets! They are packaged as pictured!

My coats almost finished
its making me anxious because I can't sew fast enough, because you have to sew slowly.
Damn.
I was going to make it buttons but im going to use a dual opening heavy duty plastic zipper i got years ago in dressew (tears)
so these are really bad pics. basically covered a coat with crepe and made a waterproof hood from a hood i found. water resistant. it had a fur inside part which im going to make into an outside part for another coat. also the sleeves are made of pants. and the inside part, the light blue denim, is also pants. i wanted black but i didnt have any fabric i wanted to use. my mind isnt settled enough to make patchwork from the available black i had (panel skirt)

this bottom panel for the pocket is crepe, interface, and polyester felt zoink! it looks great, though the rest isnt interfaced and you can see the plaid through the crepe which i find lol. also my crooked double stitching
sewing the zipper and then the bottom, and any other details. im getting anxious wish it was already finished it feels like its taken weeks due to lack of work flow and materials.

+++++++++
feb 18,
well the zippers in, it seams crooked - ha. i didnt iron enough at all
and i hate the light blue on the inside OMG i wish it was black. so dumb. im going to have to do something about that in the future. right now its just the sleeves and the bottom part and then i can take a selfie wearing it
or something.
my first coat had so many problems and they're never going to end until i finish working on it.
im already looking forward to making a second coat...with mild apprehension because i didnt copy the lining pattern.
