denim body pillow

i guess you could use old jeans and your old mishapen pillows just like i did if you ever wanted or needed a longish pillow. so here it is, my body pillow made of super soft stretch denim drawstring skirt by garage (brand) body pillow. for the back part or seat of my sofa.

so squishy i love it. i used two pillows one of them i took apart and folded in half and used batting to make it a solid pillow and just put it right in without fabric - hope that doesnt get loose.

its sewn shut so ill only get to wash it by undoing the edge haha thats ok but i forgot to use the stich that is just one thread so you can pull it and it comes apart... i forgot what its called:::

maybe more pouches. i have this super cute "france tourism" fabric i dont know how to use. its got pictures , drawings and fundamentalist colourful, of france scenes: little scooter, eiffel tower, cute side streets, i think theres a poodle in there... ill post a pic from my phone:

i wanted to quilt it but i dont know how to add the other shapes around it. what shapes. where.

oh i just remembered these already made project panels i bought. yay im going to use them. theres 4 of these placemat projects but im going to make it a pouch with an outside pocket:

also just bought an $18 bag of quilt batting 45x60 inches or so arriving tomorrow thanks to amazon. kind of expensive for a small piece it is polyester. i read all the cotton reviews and i just gave up. it looks like most come apart when washed and you have a lump of cotton between the unquilted portions . i was thinking i should use instacart more if im lazy. i have to go to the dufferin fabricland before it shuts down for good everything is on discount clearance. they opened one on yonge and bloor which is so convenient so that dufferin one is closing. anyway that dufferin on transit is a bus ride and walking but its by highways in a really uncomfortable manner. busy highways, so uncomfortable to walk by. i dont have a car so i never go to the locations that are super far unless i live near them somehow like the dufferin one i was living in north york at the time.... those landlords havent paid me back yet. did you read about twitter having to sue the ADL some jewish defamation league, for defamation, on twitter? like wow guys these jewish people are getting way out of control if they want to remain as a whole person, just one jewish, just jew, they really need to step it up. like my old landlord is super uber jewish with 11 children im not sure if they were like amish people or something but they were like amish people or something totally lying through the skin of their teeth nodding their heads ..... in the end they refuse to return my damage deposit after threatening me so many fucking times about smoking inside the house and i wasnt smoking pot in the house whatsoever like one time i even tested it and knew those fucking kids were right at my door spying on me, depressing me, harassing me, i busted up, loudly, the stankiest weed i had bought in a while to ROLL a joint and i could hear them giddily gobbling up a single terp, one molecule of cannabinoid in their delicate spying little fucking noses... could literally hear them giggling and saying thats def weed lol, fucking annoying brady bunch looking all uniform wearing little fuckers.... constantly running up around forcing the little ones to stomp on top of my entire apartment when parents were not home, just miserable fucking children with nothing to do when at home, like honestly and vacuuming right first thing the girls would do in the morning after getting ready for their boring ass days ffs..... yeah i felt fucing tortured in the freezing cold basement with a broken kitchen window and sticky walls that pat and i painted first fucking thing he did, ew the walls in the kitchen were repulsive, only 1,300 i says though the laundry was 4 blocks away easy,  carpeted too with the most hideous flooring in the main room, all beige and browns and streaky looking and not shiny. just ew.  in the end they steal my last months rent because he demanded me to pay rent the month i was moving out and i gave them enough notice, they were fucking horrible traumatizing fucks that didnt pay me back, he demanded i pay rent on the last month i stayed, and i had painted the kitchen and one side of the main room. i also detail cleaned the bathroom and mopped the dingy cough inducing mildewey carpeted walls. and also detail cleaned the black mold on the venetian blind in the entrance window, which was completely filthy. as if i dont charge myself for what i do. i had to live there. their place from the looks of it, was meticulous. not sure why or how their rental was so affordable in comparison to the rest? hmm. with the money they stole they could have bought me a washer dryer and another month would have paid for carpet removal and linoleum or double paned windows, just no as if that plus what they did to me was what i deserved plus forcing me to pay a months rent on the month i was to leave, so what the fuck did i pay the damage deposit for? these fucking people thought it was ok, after literally renting the place with a fucking social worker explaining my condition and trauma regarding theft with a well written letter, plus albion housings crew coming to explain and get the lease etc holy fucking shit i even had the ministry of housing pay them directly, to which they did and accidentally over paid them because of how the housing costs are doled out by agency or department and not a the lump sum oh just fucking no. incredible trauma from these people like why show me your whole fam and say youre this without telling me you were like super poor . well i guess this is what i understood. but yo i asked the guy the landlord if they were ok for moneey- because he had my damage and no word of a lie said not a single word to me about the fucking gorgeous paint job pat did in that god awful kitchen, an indication of pure fuckery coming....... ugh so where was i, at a loss of $1,548 by the hands of a large fundamentalist jewish family of 11.... blatant thieves i felt my human rights were being flagrantly violated, bullied by children and stigmatized by adults about pot smoking is not what you want in a basement suite with no laundry in the middle of nowhere and a highway to cross daily.  

yeah so what am i going to make today. i hope something that makes me some money!!  ooooh maybe ill make stabby, my stuffed aromatherapy knife.  you just drip essential oils onto it and it smells good while you stab away at stuff! yeah! i wonder if i can use the black and white gingham for the knife part... what about the handle just plain black? i have polka dots but i think it would be too busy and both non black. yeah totally gonna make stabby today. been thinking about this project for a while.

today im smoking on maple pancakes by potluck. tastes just like original haze! yummy! got it at the ocs for like 40 a quarter so worth it though the convenience and its packaged cleanly no animal hairs....

kaleidoscope on its way

​finally figured out the order and manner upon which i am to sew the kaleidoscope pattern pieces together in order to make a perfect block where all the points show up . All i needed to do was sew them two at a time and join them by twos. Also a 90 degree angle when sewing two twos together to make up one half. This angle i missed all the last times. Obviously! Its so nice ill sew up what i have cut and start on the corners……..

Not sure how the colours are going to turn out. Id really want to make them defined, the inner circles, but i cant even identify them while sewing. Will just try this alternate patterning with an interchangeable triangle (the purple and yellow flower one with a greyish back ground) for pivoting or obscuring im not sure what it will look like.

I tried making the kaleidoscope block tonight and it’s really difficult to get straight I guess you need to paper pieces or something like that but I think I can do it without paper piecing if only I can fit the pieces properly. The last picture is of the block laying flat but the points don’t match up so I’m going to so for the time and so those four together in a straight line at the bottom but I don’t know if it’s gonna work.

I feel really scared about the fraud thing because I’ve been targeted for so many years straight I’m exhausted and the housing benefit was reduced in half so I have no money because I got scammed and I’m exhausted I have no support nobody really helps me and I’m just by myself and it’s scary to get targeted by groups of men.

Yay i made one like i said and it worked so much better and was easy. Just have to sew all the way to the point, over the seam of the previous point if that makes any sense. Still feel gutted though. Have so much money to pay back but with no income i dont know how ill do it.

​ I’m working on it now ships in the night quilt I have all the blocks I’m only gonna do nine blocks and I’m gonna enter space blocks with the wave pattern which I haven’t started yet but I made all the blocks ready… 

These are the colours for the wave pattern. Might be too light. I dunno though will try making it and see whatit looks like. If it looks bad or off with the night time sky and blue water ill get fabric for a darker colourway.

Some quilted tote bags

Here are some pics of some of the tote bags I’ve been making I was thinking of joining the cabbage town arts and craft show but I’m not sure if I can afford applying or if I have enough stuff for the jury in june i think, for the show in September anyway here are the bags I’ve been making. Not sure if they will upload or not because I am using a new app on my phone to post to blogger and its just a free app.

As usual i did nothing on my birthday, received some greetings, a pair of chinese creepers i bought off amazon arrived in the mail… oh yeah patrice has been fighting me and as usual he tried so hard to ruin the day with a barage of insults and stupid mean things to say because hes autistic or sociopathic or a psycho or i dunno actually but now its confirmed every holiday or special occasion i need to block him because he tries to ruin every one with glee. Im starting to totally hate patrice because of his addictions and debt and denial of both. Its such a burden having to listen to him deny responsibility for every single thing. Anyway i did nothing today as usual and it was quite boring as predicted i wanted to go downtown but realistically i need to save the money because the jewish landlord didnt return my damage deposit so i cant even celebrate my birthday  

I added his name, Danny Lebovitz, to the rate your landlord website put up by a couple of torontonians i think…. Would be a good save for someone else if caught. The guy and his family stole my money and they justify it. Disgusting people robbing from others and not caring when the other suffers due to their theft.

Yeah its my birthday but i didnt celebrate as usual. Maybe next year

optical bee -picnic basket quilt

Here is the bee quilt block i made and finished - i didnt make three more to make a baby quilt because i dont like the design that much lol i just made it myself and the fbric choices are not thaaaat good… i think this will be a picnic basket quilt or a porch seat  i posted the quilt to fabric lands twitter and they reposted it i felt so blessed lol not much social media for fabricland so ill post up everything i make with their fabric for promotion i forgot to tag them last night when i made a new tote bag… anyway here is the quilt, i used the grey bee fabric as the back..

Still making this last one the cutest one with miffy and a cool grey pattern at the back. This one below has a different back part (pink and  white skulls) the last ones on the bottom two (back and front)

I binded the whole quilt already but i found some hand stitches that had loose thread so i have to redo them.

​the most daunting part aside from sewing the batting for me was attaching the binding. 

Or rather sewing the binding i already attached around the quilt. I thought it made it look like a picture frame but i ended up totally scrapping the picture frame idea And just went with the regular binding that most quilts have.

At this point I realized I had to cut almost all of the excess batting and back fabric off so i could double fold the “frame” and fold it over the edge of the quilt where i would sew it at the back using a blind stitch.

I’m just at the first corner now. Thought I’d smoke a joint first because I wasn’t feeling that motivated. I think it’s just threading the needle over and over again. I’ll try again with the self threading needle but it keeps catching on the batting. So this is my crafty bit for the day. 

I hope to finish the whole quilts binding today. I’m being firm with my “today”. It’s so easy and I should be much faster by now but I’m just as slow as I’ve always been hand sewing………
