thank god blogger is one of the share buttons on my pc. i hate not having it as my go to log for sharing because sometimes years later i revisit my posts and marvel at my brazen shit talk and laugh and laugh and laugh. its good to find some funny memes or whatever. playlists. memories of stupid boys. love notes for patrice. that kind of shit. poems, where are all my so bad poetry inklings. those poems were bad. admit it.

i made this
the other one fell off. the fake leather finish was the first to go then eventually the plastic coating or whatever wore down at the edges, then the top stitching started coming apart and then it just fell off. took a good few years though yay. so i made this, its even better. i have one more key chain snap closure i will make a nice for the etsy shop.
ive been not wanting to go outside from lack of proper gear. its been up to -13 and i dont really have good warm shoes or a hooded coat. im trying to figure out how to remake the longish white faux fur button up coat i got for 25 bucks one year into a shorter zipper opening hooded coat but i havent done anything cept cut the bottom off to the right length.
meanwhile isnt this pouch nice its such a better proprtion from the last one.
i used the last scrap of the japanse tsumugi woven fabric i got off kumi to make the pocket.

Blim will be presenting a monthly Main Street Community Market this month to take place at the Heritage Hall on Main and 15th. 2 blocks north of Blim.
This Months market will include 48 vendors, music, hot food, beverages, and entertainment. Vendors will include food, fashion, accessories,
supplies, fine art, vintage items and records, and not be limited to crafts, and there will be a focus on nurturing and promoting
creative production in our community. We want to appeal to young, old, hip, plain, babies, animals, men, women, everyone.
We are very excited about this event and what it can contribute to Main Street's artistic vitality, and how it can help support and
encourage the local creative community.

i bought a shelvie thing for the bags ok and have made necklace stands out of foam core and lace paper omg. like crazy? i have also made a large riser and small flat risers for the display. found amazing little easels so all the cards will be standing upright.

i have a new sewn product. backpacks! they are nice. my sewing machine is kind of totally messed up and needs service. so these backpacks are even more special cos with the machine breaking down constantly and me readjusting it and rethreading it, it took me about 4-5 hours each backpack! omg. plus making and testing the pattern. need to get the machine fixed and it should take way less time and if i had a production line with the serger.





so i moved to a new place in june right, well were looking for another place again cos my property manger is completely mental. like, insane. like racist and psycho and violent and hostile. like, for serious. ill write where it is and this guys name, after we move (again) *groanhands* but we could really do better find a nicer spot to settle into, so thats ok. but shit. how annoying. weve filed a dispute resolution against him and have a telephone hearing date next month. maybe one day i will post his letters. they are pretty classic in the bad bad no no category. like, i could sue him for violating my human rights.

yeah. so now that weve semi settled in, ive been trying to make stuff, and recover from landlord problems and now were trying to find another place. gak. come to the fairs ive trying to make more new styles. quality stuff :D

long necklaces. i have to make an inventory for virgin marys for long necklaces and pocuhes. was sposed to go on tuesday but couldnt. need a whip. someone with a whip.
if only i could make this much stuff everyday. i wonder if id run out of ideas eventually? hope not.
had to buy chain at country beads the other day. ouch. so expensive 122 bucks for a like 50 feet of chain and some earwires. like, holee. ordering from catalogs is so much cheaper. like 50 feet of chain is a little under 20 bucks while at country beads its like 18 bucks for 10 feet. what was i thinking.... meanwhile ive bought (and its arrived) an insane amount of fabric right when i got back from manila with all the money i made so instead, in retrospect, i think i should have bought jewelry supplies then to make more jewelry and then bought the fabrics after i made money at fairs. coz right now im sitting on all this fabric im not going to be using till i get to manila in july and i have all the fairs and i dont have any chain. damn. and like after i bought all the fabric, i couldnt buy any jewelry supplies till way later (so the supplies that i did end up buying are not here yet)
gah.
i made a bunch of new stuff though.
