this week im working on my dream inventory.

oh man. i just spent a long ass time adding captions to the new stuff in virgin marys album on my facebook fan page and then forgot to press save! so i tried to do it again but did the same thing omg!!! sheesh they were really detailed captions of all the new designs and even had prices. what a waste. im dreading editing again but will do it again later  :rolls eyes:

the fab fair! it was ok.. not very busy at all :c but i was able to make a some funds nevertheless.. heres my table...ive made an inventory for virgin marys with some of the jewelry and few pouches and though im dreading it i really should sew more pouches and bags...

plated gold!

i still have no gold anode. i bought a pair of 18kt gold earrings from an ex-favorite supplier of mine but never got them so i had to get a refund. then today im polishing these brass lockets and am really wanting them to be plated gold. so i figure i might as well try now while the urge is urgent. no anode, i used a length of 10kt filled gold wire and it totally worked! but the color is so dark gold almost orange-y coz its 10kt. its ok though the wire is not usable anymore coz ees so ugly and eaten away now!
so now im all getting obsessed and really want to get plating all this brass stuff i have so i was looking for a lapidary place or some kind of supply and finally! found a place right downtown so i dont have to go as far as i originally thought (burnaby. heh, its not even that far) but anyway this place, its on smithe! lacy west. so im gonna go tomorrow coz later today i have a meeting with marie from plenty. cross fingers ill be supplying them with jewelry soon? :D could be rad.
also, im updating new stuff to briers by this friday. also wanted to see if there is need for more pieces at virgin marys, so i think i will just make as much stuff as i can finishing the chain i have here. whew. vacations over.

ive been meaning to pick up list making again. forgot to buy a calendar. mmmeanwhile got an adjustable dressform at dressew and finally set it up. need someone to measure me properly though. got this beauty with an 8 part body 50% off during boxing week at dressew so it was about $150 CAD with tax. ya! id been wanting it since a while ago, dint it know it then, but you can fit pants :D so its kind of set up now and its got a bra and shirt on. i think it looks like me? will start altering and making the clothes ive been meaning to make 3 years ago??? we will see...

but i do have some food pics to share¡
simes and i have been making noodles the past week. well, i have. 2 dishes.
first up : bare bones pancit palabok. rice stick noodles, palabok mix, egg, garlic crunchies, onion, parsley for flair? hee oh and some patis. no tinapa no shrimps, no chicharon or even green onion... huhuhuhu ;; it was good tho.. simes had the last bite.

next : puttanesca. i forgot what this was called for a couple days then i really squeezed my brain to remember it, going back to all the friends and family parties back in the philippines where id eaten it.. then ding! oh yeah. i love it when that happens.
so anyway remembering the name, i could go find a proper recipe.
forgot to get anchovies tho so this one is just with super lemony tuna and lemon pepper noodles from the superstore >< olives, capers, diced tomatoes, garlic, onion, pepper etc....
simes loved it. so did i!


so now ive gotta go back to making stuff... packaging a few things for shipping...
tomorrow (Friday!!) im dropping off these pouches at paper-ya!!!
go get em while the pickins prime.. (ive said that before) they should be in stock during the weekend. ive inserted each one with a vintage playing cards, and all the linings are just as cute as their exterior '-'/
and im also bringing more jewelry to virgin marys on commercial drive!
some new black cameo necklaces for the fall, and other lovely darker colored long chain pieces (like 25 inches +)...

for the blim fair on saturday i have made a few bags '-'/ aah... a mini matroichka messenger and 3 mini shoulder bags. mm..
