patrice painted this show, holly hobbie, thought i'd have made a holly hobbie necklace by now,
but i haven't opened up my jewelry supplies in a year.
its very inappropriate for me to be endorsing a childrens show because i dont want to attract attention to my blogs adult themes to children, but its just so funny about the show due to my obsession with those vintage holly hobbie cameos back in the jewelry making days and even my buying the vintage fabric that was like patchwork and making it into a pillowcase which i at some point left at patrices place because he needed pillow cases then years later he tells me hes painting a show, called holly hobbie and i flip out and literally point to the pillow case and tell him this is holly hobbie and he was just amazed because he didnt know who the character was!! lol. it was just funny. he told me all about it and i wished he got paid more of course but its not a big show and im not even sure how popular the character is, i should go make up those necklaces again because when i unearthed those cameos and started putting them out i felt like she became popular again for a bit in the handmade etsy crafts jewelry realm. i really shouldnt dis these coincidences and move so slowly about them and this why i want ptsd to be eradicated from my processes. anyway he painted the whole thing all the details he drew the chalk board signs, the shops signage, the wall treatments, he even painted the bricks in the cafe one by one. he paints flat walls and makes them look very textured. his sci fi stuff tho! anyway i think its very cool and

really need to watch this show and make some of those cameos into necklaces.....!
