Soap Making and Smelly Rubber Spatulas

hey you know what i bought borax for my clothes and it totally works. thing is i was still confused on what soap is?

turns out i didnt need to buy laundry soap or dish soap anymore after buying a box of borax.

i didnt see the suds so i didnt know it was soap?

here are some great links that explained to me that i wasted around 10 dollars on laundry soap and dish soap when i could have biked to china town and bought a bottle of their lye water they use to make breads or something (i actually have no idea where to buy lye except go to a chinese grocery and see if they carry the lye water)
