So far ive come this far. I bought fabric, this multicoloured space fabric from fabricville and a space themed back part (might change this idea and make the back part plain because this fabric is great and i might want more of it for another quilt)
The space fabric
Here is the quilt laid out with the border, the wave pattern in greys. The lowest row has grass at the base. I might make it 4x4 ship blocks instead of 3x3 because it might be too small and no one will be able to really use it aside from a lap/nap quilt/picnic park quilt.
Im actually not 100% on the wave pattern because of the fabric like im not sure if it actually goes. I never get comments online on anything i do these days! i dont know what other people think.
