Why I was so affected by the passing of Karl Lagerfeld

I wrote a piece.
Short one.
Based on the interviews and articles I scoured the internet for.
Wow I love this mans life. His brain. Also I thought he was sexiest at ages 40-50 and again at ages 70-83 (because by 85 he gained weight again, but, I would still love him) Can you believe it. Have you seen a hottie woman at age 75? Let me see the picture.

Anyway this is what I wrote. I want to update this post with all the great articles, interviews and videos I found.

quality was lost
there is no ugly vintage.
“bad taste came after, with the industrial era”
luxurious products are exclusive by price due to the quality of craftsmanship and paramount design.
when the quality fell, the talentless flourished, bad taste became the norm.
the beauty of well and long crafted pieces and objects vanished with
the new rise of modernism, fast food, minimalism, the attention civilization lost on object creation by an individual has caused a rift in the collective psyches concept of worth in a way that disconnects the self from environment. the cause and effect concept has become diluted and washed thin which diminishes the value of time spent reflecting the origins of our world while creating a simple meal from scratch, hemming a piece of cloth, to building an entire city.
the standard of quality has always been defined by luxury, but when money becomes disconnected from its origin luxury becomes distasteful and stale.

There are no pictures of Karl Lagerfeld undressed. Not a single one! I cannot find a inch of his skin apart from his face, neck, and hands. Amazing!

He died in good taste, a lifetime of hard work and persistent curiosity, a lavish lifestyle he could afford to consistently maintain and grow. A quality to be admired and copied. There is no second option! These days of laziness and over population, excuse giving, political correctness, office decorum, it kills souls, it kills life. To be LOUD and PROUD, but also WORTH IT, is something a lot of people shouting from their youtube channels and instagram posts sorely lack. Where is the content of the worlds artistic flair, of personal expression? Its drained out of society by cheap chinese clothing for fucks sake! I am at fault here and now that he is dead I REFUSE to purchase another Shitty garment that doesn't hold itself to the highest standard! That said I do need some basics but I really hope his legacy and how he taught by example lives on. I know nothing of the fashion world but I do understand a motivational presence in the world and he was one of them.

my fave is from the confidential documentary when the interviewer is asking him about his sexuality and if hes active (he is 74 years old then) and karl lagerfeld just sits there and squirms and half laughs saying (in french) "Your question is positively distressing Randolph! What type of gymnastics do you mean???"

sometimes i impersonate that scene out loud in the mirror when im getting ready and putting make up on ahahahahaa its what i should say when guys ask me awkward questions.... jokes ok. the guy was jokes. i love him.
