karl lagerfeld dying made me feel really sad all week long. and now i feel weird. got really into watching his interviews and looking at stuff hes done for chanel like those mini movies and im really stoked it was him who published the entire work of nietzsche as he wanted it published. looking at the life he built for himself out of his interests and passions is very inspiring. sure, he was one of a kind and irreplaceable but an ideal is idealized for a reason. if anything, its enough to know someone lived that life and made use of his wealth to his personal advantage and he enjoyed it till the very end, and that life was enough for him, and he didnt want anything more than to keep doing what he was doing. simply inspirational. he was on top and for good reason and the little bits of wisdom he said ill remember. he had vast understanding and a life long curious energy that is so appealing to think about.
