ottogi donut

korean mixes rock!
since i saw the 'ottogi doughnut mix' in the korean grocery ive been dreaming about doughnuts. mini bear loves eating and all things food related.
so i bought the mix but forgot to get the cashier to translate the instructions. so simon had to go get something at the store and he brought the mix to the korean restaurant and the waiter told him what to do with it. when he got home he told me 'one egg' i straight away started mixing. yum! we used a glass and i emptied out one of my bead containers for the doughnut 'holes' rolled em in sugar and cinamon yum!! then i made chocolate sauce (not with the hersheys stuff- coz well, it just tastes like hersheys) the chocolate sauce was amazing! and with the doughnuts it was like churros. oooohhhhh churros.......

so i made the chocolate sauce by mixing a bunch of cocoa with a little water, a pinch salt, sugar(from the sugar/cinnamon mix), little milk (coz we were running out), and very little butter- mix mix yum.... dip!

next time well make em from scratch, coz really, i think i was just lured by the korean writing and cute picture on the package :P

Thanks for the instructions. I just googled it never thinking I'd get anywhere! Now I can have an afternoon of donuts with the mix I bought ages ago! Si (Daegu)

  7. Thank you anonymous internet person, I was musing for some time over the instructions to this product. The third instruction translates literally as 'milk all the water'. I think it was meant to say 'milk or water'.

Great, thanks for this! I bought the mix at our local Korean supermarket and only noticed when I got home that the instructions were all in Korean. I tried for ages to figure it out - even downloaded some translate apps on my phone!
