ReplyDeleteLove the handle on it too.
Isn't it terrible that we still need to point out to people not to steal our ideas? C'mon people, get your own creative juices flowing!

ReplyDeleteLOL!
ReplyDeleteHey there,
ReplyDeleteThis is my first blog, so please bear we with me. I "met" Nico at the Commercial Drive No Cars Festival and I was immediately impressed, especially when, in true festival spirit, she gave me the info I needed to make my own creation since I didn't have the money to buy one of hers. I took a business card and have enjoyed the blog ever since. I have a confession/question however. I treat websites and pages like magazines when it comes to downloading images and saving them in a file for later when I need a little inspiration. Just like a scrapbook. I use the pictures like a pattern to make my own whatever, never selling them for money, but giving them as gifts perhaps. Is this wrong? I give credit where credit is due, but am I still "stealing" images? Yes, I was raised a Catholic and have a paranoid conscience. Comments please!!
Jen
hey jen!
ReplyDeleteyour so sweet. its only 'stealing' if you use them online to promote your 'whatever' without giving me credit!
but if your using them as reference to inspire you thats totally fine! as long as you dont copy my desgins exactly and then sell em! which your not so its fine- im so glad you find my blog useful and thanks for the cute comment '-'/
thanks, I'll sleep better now.

its hits very close to home, and i agree with almost all of the sellers who responded to the question of imitation.
Wao, I love the purse with the pink handles! Everything you make looks really professional. Keep up the godd work, and have a nice summertime :)
